This piece put me a bit out of my comfort zone - working on a smaller scale with high detail; painting iconic people from a well known movie series. You step up to the plate to try and produce the best you can. This was also the first piece where I used air-brush. I thought that adding air brush into the piece could help me achieve a high level of detail similar to how I use spray paint. It took me a fair while to wrap my head around - especially getting the mix of watering down the paint right. I was really happy how the piece turned out - I got a lot of feed back on it - notably on my character selection. As people had their own pick of four characters from the movie; but on the whole it brought about a lot of discussion within the studio. I was mainly aiming for balance among the characters & picking the more stylish and bold figures that I knew.
